RJM International, the Winchester–based provider of emissions reduction solutions and equipment to the power generation and large combustion plant sectors, announces that at a ceremony held earlier today, the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Nigel Atkinson, formally presented the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2017 to RJM’s Managing Director, John Goldring, on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen.

The Lord Lieutenant was accompanied by his Deputy, Timothy Weale. Also in attendance was the Mayor of Winchester, Cllr David McLean.

Speaking at the presentation of the award, John Goldring said, “We are delighted to welcome the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Nigel Atkinson to RJM today and deeply honoured to accept the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category from him.

“The award is a testament to the continued success of RJM over a sustained period of time, both at home and in overseas markets. It is also an achievement that acknowledges the abilities and dedication of all our staff in their common goal to reduce pollution and improve the lives of people in countries all across the world; this recognition of their work is therefore very well-deserved.

“In addition, as engineering innovation is what drives our success, we are particularly delighted that RJM has won The Queens’s Award in the Innovation category,” he added.

As he presented the Award, the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire said, “The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are highly prestigious awards for outstanding achievement by UK businesses. The awards are made annually by Her Majesty The Queen, and are only given for the highest levels of excellence. I am delighted to be able to present RJM International with its award today and wish the company every success in the future.

“Being customer-focused is clearly in your DNA with your impressive list of partners – which I hope will now increase following you winning this prestigious Award. I congratulate you and your staff on this Award,” he added.
